We all know the classic Thanksgiving story: The pilgrims showed up at Plymouth Rock, nearly starved to death and were saved by the generosity of the Native Americans. It’s a sweet story … at least until the pilgrims eventually screwed over their hosts and stole their land.
But … what if it was a Native American who actually did the screwing? That’s the all-so-important question posed by our first comic Saving Thanksgiving. Here are the first three pages of this epic tale. We’ll be updating this story each week. And as we wait for each update, we’ll busy ourselves with clearing up space for the Pulitzer Prize this tale is sure to receive.
By the way, the artist, Stanislavsky, does a great job with this story.
